Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1st July 2025

By booking a stay at Church Cottage, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Bookings and Payment

  • A confirmed booking is made upon receipt of your deposit or full payment.

  • Payment instructions will be provided upon enquiry or via our chosen booking platform.

  • Full payment is required upon booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed.

2. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: from 13.00

  • Check-out: by 11.00

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement.

3. Occupancy

  • Church Cottage sleeps up to 4 guests.

  • Only guests included in the booking may stay overnight.

4. No Smoking / No Pets

  • Church Cottage is strictly non-smoking.

  • We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.

5. Damages

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for repairs or extra cleaning if the property is not left in an acceptable condition.

6. Cancellation

7. Liability

We do our best to ensure your stay is enjoyable, but we accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to guests or their belongings during their stay, unless caused by our negligence.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and flexible as possible.

1. Cancellation by Guest

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.

  • Cancellations made 7–14 days before arrival: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival: No refund, unless we are able to rebook the dates.

We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.

2. Cancellation by Host

In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund. We will also do our best to help you find alternative local accommodation.
